After appearances in the Middle East as well as South and North America, Formula E is now heading to Africa: On Saturday (February 29) Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler will start with its two drivers Daniel Abt and Lucas di Grassi at the fifth round of the purely electric single-seater series in Marrakesh (Morocco).
Kelvin van der Linde and Mattia Drudi will start for Audi at the Formula E rookie test in Marrakesh. A day after the fifth round of the series on February 29, the two youngsters from South Africa and Italy get one day to gain experience in the fully electric series, and at the same time, support the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler squad with its development work. After three consecutive victories, Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler had to settle for 6th place for Lucas di Grassi in the 2020 Formula E race in Mexico City. Teammate Daniel Abt was able to start the race after a massive accident in practice, thanks to a huge team effot. Read more
